John,

After working to overthrow Roe v. Wade, the GOP movement to further deny healthcare to millions continues. A recent ruling by a federal judge in Texas to prohibit the FDA-approved abortion medication mifepristone is just another in a long line of attacks by the GOP on our most basic freedoms.

The GOP is throwing everything in its arsenal – state legislatures, attorneys general, the courts, and more – to destroy reproductive rights. We’ve seen it right here in Ohio, where Attorney General Yost led a national movement to prevent mifepristone’s distribution in ours and other conservative states.

In the face of this continued assault, the only way to secure our rights is to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act.

That’s why I worked with my Democratic colleagues in the House to reintroduce it, but now, Congress needs to hear from you, John. Can you sign our petition demanding Congress act to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and defend access to reproductive care?
