Medication abortion is on the line.

Dear John,

On Friday, Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, an anti-abortion extremist judge in Texas, issued a decision that could eliminate access to mifepristone nationally. Mifepristone, which the FDA has approved for decades, is used in medication abortion, the most common form of abortion. If the decision is upheld, it will take away a critical medication from all of us, including in states where abortion is still legal.

Tell the Courts to Protect Medication Abortion

This attack on an FDA-approved medication is the latest attempt to restrict abortion nationwide.

TAKE ACTION

Mifepristone has a safety record better than Tylenol, has been proven effective, and has been used by more than five million people since the FDA approved it over 20 years ago. Anti-abortion extremists picked their judge precisely to get this outcome, and now we must work to restore justice and abortion access in every way possible.

Trump-appointed extremist judges are issuing decisions based on harmful ideologies that spread lies and junk science. Extremists will not stop until there is a nationwide abortion ban. We need you to fight back right now!

Everyone should be able to make personal decisions about their own bodies, lives, and futures–including having access to mifepristone–without interference from an extremist judge.

In solidarity,
