While President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act sought to move us away from our dependence on fossil fuels, this dangerous legislation from House Republicans would give hand-outs to Big Oil while leaving the American people behind.

"The Polluters Over People Act" is a giveaway to Big Oil and gas companies. That means more price gouging at the pump, an increase in environmental and health disasters for the American public, and multiple steps backward in the fight against the growing climate crisis. House Republicans even rejected an amendment to prevent drilling off the coast of Washington.
