Dear John,
“This is how I spent my shift that day, holding him,” Jean told us. “I was gazing at his perfect face as he took his last breaths and passed to the next life.”
The rest of Jean’s story will leave you outraged. Why? Because the baby in question had survived an abortion and was given no medical care, to ensure that he died.
Legislation being considered right now would make this a perfectly acceptable thing to do in Minnesota.
How far will the extreme, pro-abortion left go this legislative session? Denying care to an infant born alive—that’s how far. If we don’t speak up for these children, who will?
John, Minnesota Family Council exists to protect infants like this little boy, and his mother, who, as you’ll see below, was also victimized. I can’t think of a more urgent time for a ministry like ours, and I want to implore you to prayerfully consider helping us continue our vital mission with a gift of $25, $50, $100, or even more, as the Lord leads.
Before I tell you the rest of Baby Boy Doe’s tragic story, I feel compelled to warn you that it may be upsetting. I’ve decided to put the story online on our blog instead of including it in full here for this reason.

. The concluding sentence is below.
…Jean, a registered nurse, took the baby boy into a private room as instructed and she held him in her arms, while he clutched her finger, breathing slowly for a few hours until he passed away.
This experience and others led Jean to become a pro-life advocate, and she shared this story before the Minnesota House Judiciary Committee back in January.
That this happened at all is heartbreaking. That abortion extremists want to make it legal in Minnesota is outrageous. But that’s not all they want to do. As we work to fight this legislation, will you consider sending your gift of any amount during this crucial amount? Some generous donors have just given $500, $125, or even just $50. Are you able and willing to join our network of like-minded Minnesotans by supporting us financially?
The same legislation, first introduced as HF91/SF70, but now included in the House Health Omnibus bill (HF2930), among other heinous provisions, also repeals an abortion reporting law that requires the state to collect data about injuries and deaths resulting from abortion. When it comes to the consequences of abortion,
abortion advocates want to keep you in the dark.
John, the extreme left is bent on deregulating the abortion industry beyond any other industry in Minnesota. Barber shops, dentist offices, pet shops, and tanning salons will all be more closely watched than those performing an invasive medical procedure that ends a human life.
Take heart, though, that the Lord hears the cry of the innocent child, and He knows the pain of the woman facing an unplanned pregnancy. He knows, and He has compassion.
We will continue to appeal to our legislators and pray for them, trusting God to give even just one the courage to stand up for the innocent.
Because even just one vote flipped in the Minnesota Senate would bring pro-abortion bills to a crashing halt - we're working night and day for that outcome.
We know this is possible. Esther risked her life for the sake of her people. A teenage David challenged a giant-sized professional soldier in a fight-to-the death – and won! Jesus took on the Pharisees, the Sanhedrin, and death itself - and WON!
Please pray with me, John, and ask the Lord if He would have you support this ministry financially. Your gift of $25, $50, $100, or even more as God leads, would be a huge blessing to our ministry and an enormous help in this battle.
