Withholding Tax Quarterly Return and Deposit Due Dates

The first quarter (January - March 2023) Minnesota Withholding Tax return is due May 1, as April 30 falls on a Sunday this year.

Deposits were due according to your semiweekly or monthly deposit schedule.

? ?Exception: You may make your deposit by May 1, 2023, if both of these applied:

• You withheld $1,500 or less of Minnesota withholding tax in the fourth quarter (October ? December 2022)
• You filed fourth quarter?s withholding tax return on time
