This week, five people were killed at a bank in Louisville, Kentucky in the 146th mass shooting of 2023. 

We deserve to go to school, the grocery store, a cultural celebration, or the bank without the fear of never coming home. But right now in the United States, that fear has become a part of life. Gun violence has torn countless families apart and ended lives we'll never get back.
