Friend, just yesterday a mass shooting in Louisville Kentucky took the lives of 5 people. In 2023 alone, there have been over 140 mass shootings in the United States – and we're barely a quarter of the way through the year. 

Every single one of these shootings is an unthinkable tragedy, leaving families and communities broken. But despite so much senseless loss, Republican politicians are refusing to support commonsense gun safety reforms. 

In the wake of the shooting in Nashville last month, President Biden once again called on Congress to take action and ban assault weapons. This should be an obvious solution, but the GOP continues to choose donations from the gun lobby over American lives.

In the face of GOP congressional inaction, we're holding an official survey among top Democrats – and we still need to see where you stand:
