There’s no doubt about it — the 2024 gubernatorial election in North Carolina will be a defining moment for our state.

Will we move forward? Continue the efforts to expand affordable healthcare options in our state. Save lives by enacting common sense gun safety legislation. Protect women’s reproductive freedoms. Or will we move backward? Just listen to the words of the highest elected Republican in our state, Mark Robinson, to see what kind of future the GOP wants for North Carolina. He said that LGBT people are “filth” and that the climate crisis is “a complete farce.” He threatened to shoot government officials with his AR-15. And, he’s repeatedly called for an abortion ban in our state.
