[ [link removed] ]A headline from The New York Times detailing former President Donald
Trump's indictment.

After years of endless scandal and corruption, Donald Trump is right where
he belongs — facing accountability in court.

Trump made history as the first former U.S. President to face criminal
charges. In addition to the New York indictment, he is facing several
other ongoing investigations. While it is far too soon to predict the
final outcome of this case, we cannot understate its significance.

For decades, Donald Trump has served as one of the most incendiary
opponents of Latinos and other communities of color. His volatile tenure
in office was marked by his appalling attacks on immigrants, racist
dog-whistles, and co-opting the far-right fringe into his political base.

The road to eradicate the corruption, demagoguery, and divisiveness Donald
Trump magnified during his presidency will be long and
difficult.
However, we can take some comfort in knowing that the law has finally
caught up to the former president. Last week's events prove that no one —
not even a former president is above the law.

As the law finally catches up with this disgraced ex-president, Latino
Victory will continue to confront Trumpism head-on — in every community
and every corner of the country.

fuel our efforts to fight Trumpism?
