ZOO AWARENESS WEEKEND 2023 HIGHLIGHTS

Dear John,

This year’s Zoo Awareness Weekend was a huge success! So many of our wonderful supporters and animal rights groups hit the streets and held demos and information stalls across the UK. As a result, the public was faced with the reality of zoos and aquariums, and their ‘con-servation’ lies were exposed!

Zoo Awareness Weekend falls on Easter Weekend as it is typically the busiest time for these businesses; presenting the perfect opportunity to take action and spread the word of the suffering that animals held captive in these institutions go through. Thank you to everyone who has joined us in the fight for their freedom so far! We could not do anything without your support!

Incredible protests and demos were held at various locations including London Zoo, Newcastle City Centre, Knowsley Safari Park, Brighton SEALIFE Centre and South Lakes Zoo. We are so grateful to all who took the time to take such important action for animals.

Thanks to activists sharing the truth, many members of the public have been made aware of the impact zoos and aquariums have on innocent animals, which will hopefully inspire them to choose more compassionate visitor attractions in the future.

We all know that the fight for freedom must continue until every cage is empty and, with that in mind, we've made sure that there are many ways to get involved and help animals even now this year's Zoo Awareness Weekend has passed.

We have a number of live actions available on our website to continue to take action, including:

TAKE ACTION FOR ANIMALS!
Donations are also a vital lifeline for us to carry on our work for all the animals cruelly held captive for human entertainment, and continue the fight for freedom.

By giving a kind gift today, you will play a big part in our future work, by helping us to keep our investigators out in the field gathering evidence of animal suffering and neglect, and supporting future events just like the many held throughout Zoo Awareness Weekend by offering free campaign materials to activist groups!

Thank you for your incredible support in the continued fight for animal freedom. With your help we can raise awareness on the terrible suffering zoos and aquariums cause, and finally confine them to the history books.
