El seminario web estará disponible en español / Spanish translation available!

On May 11th the COVID-19 public health emergency ends, leaving many community-based organizations and workforces wondering how this transition will impact their local community. With changes to COVID-19 protections ([link removed]) , as well as public health emergency provisions such as food ([link removed]) , telehealth ([link removed]) and Medicaid coverage ([link removed]) , there is an opportunity for misinformation to spread, worsening communication gaps around the critical information needed during this time. Local trusted messengers need to be
equipped with the latest information and culturally competent resources to keep families and community members healthy and safe in this next phase of the pandemic.

Please join the Vaccine Equity Cooperative ([link removed]) for this 90-minute interactive webinar where local experts answer your pressing questions, address your biggest concerns, and share the immediate, most important impacts of the public health emergency ending, including:
* Differentiating between the national emergency ending and the public health emergency ending;
* Understanding how federal information has cascaded down to state and local public health agencies;
* Equity-driven and community-centric long term public health safety plans; and
* Potential roadblocks and upcoming opportunities to continue your COVID-19 response.

We invite you to come with additional issues to raise, but encourage you to submit your questions in advance using the box on the registration form.

* Sanmi Areola, PhD ([link removed]) , Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Health Human Services and Education, Prince George’s County, Maryland ([link removed])
