Our Next Workplace Supports and Training Strategies Course Starts April 26th!

The Colorado Office of Employment First Workplace Supports and Training Strategies Course registration for the April 2023 cohort is now open! This two-week remote learning course will cover content on providing workplace supports, systematic instruction, and other training strategies.

Participants in the COEF Workplace Supports and Training Strategies Course will engage in an interactive learning experience that includes live sessions, On-Demand coursework, and individualized mentoring. Our experienced and engaging instructors will be available throughout the course to support participants in navigating the course and achieving course objectives.

Coursework is completed through our learning management system. The assignments are designed to be integrated into an employment professional's work. Learning assignments, knowledge checks, and mentoring will help learners practice skills while also confirming their understanding of the course content.

This training covers content on:
? Foundational Concepts of Employment
? Work-Related Activities, Understanding the Position & Supports
? Understanding and Implementing Training Strategies including Systematic Instruction
? Technology, Behavioral/Social Supports, and Long-Term Satisfaction
Who Should Register & Attend:
This training is for Colorado employment support professionals who are seeking qualification in systematic instruction and who provide job coaching services and supports.

Cost of Training: Free to Colorado Providers

Training Completion Expectations & Requirements:
Training Participants must attend all training days and turn in all coursework to successfully complete the training and to earn a training certificate from the Colorado Office of Employment First.

Training Schedule & Dates:
Live Session Times: 1:00-4:00 PM MST
Live Session Dates: Live sessions are Wednesdays and Thursdays
? Week One: 4/26 & 4/27
? Week Two: 5/3 & 5/4
o Participants must attend and participate in all live sessions as well as complete independent homework to earn a training certificate.

Speakers will receive reimbursement for approved travel expenses. No compensation will be provided.
