We have an all-important fundraising deadline coming up tonight at midnight, and I’m hoping you’ll take a moment to read why this one is so important for our campaign.

If this deadline passes and our numbers look good, we’ll be on pace to have the resources to win this race. We can build a campaign that will stand up to the likes of Mitch McConnell and the Koch network.

The people of North Carolina are fed up with politicians who only answer to their wealthy donors and corporate interests while ignoring the rest of us. That’s why I’m running to be the independent voice North Carolinians deserve in Washington. And I believe we have what it takes to win, so long as we do it together.

That’s why I’m asking you:

Can I count on you to add a contribution of $10 or more to our campaign before our first end-of-month deadline of the year expires at midnight? I refuse to accept a single donation from corporate PACs — which means I’m counting on folks like you to pitch in whatever you can afford to power our movement.

This campaign is about you, John. Like me, I know you believe it’s time to defeat the political corruption and gridlock in Washington. I hope we can count on you to help us do it.
