The Maryland Green Party will be holding its Annual Assembly on Sunday, June 25, 2023. This is our biggest event of the year and this year we have a big project to take on -- a petition drive to get the Green Party back on the ballot. We need all hands on deck to organize and host a great event this June. Here's what you can do to help:



- Volunteer to help plan the meeting. Do you have experience with logistics, event coordination, local venues, finances, social media, or other skills that will help us host a great meeting? Please let us know so we can get you connected to the party's event planners.





- Host a workshop. We are looking for local Greens to host educational workshops on key issues: election and political?reform, environmental protection, racial and social equity, non-violence, and anything else that promotes Green values.





- Help set bylaws policy. The deadline for submitting bylaws amendments is May 24. Part of the business of the Annual Assembly is to make any needed changes to the Maryland Green Party's rules. If you would like to submit a bylaws amendment, please do so soon.?

Even if you can't help organize the meeting, we hope you can attend. Save the date for Sunday, June 25, 2023, from about 1:00-5:00 PM.?





If you can't attend, there's still some things you can do TODAY to get the Green Party on track for our summer activities.



- Get involved in our ballot access drive. We need to collect the signatures of 10,000 registered voters to get the Green Party back on the ballot for 2024 and 2026 elections. You can download the petition here and collect signatures <[link removed]> on your own schedule.
