My name is Dr. Javad T. Hashmi, and I am the head of the new MPAC Research Bureau. We launched the MPAC Research Bureau to facilitate and promote more accurate and informed discussions about Islam and the American Muslim experience.

In an effort to increase effective conversation, we break down some of the most controversial issues, inside and outside our communities — combating misinformation, promoting understanding and respect, and educating the ill-informed.
