Pronghorn in the snow
As a result of winter impacts, Wyoming Game and Fish Department wildlife managers have made significant adjustments to hunting season proposals in many areas of the state. The modified set of draft regulations are now available for public viewing and will be presented to the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission on April 18 in Casper. The public is welcome to attend the Commission meeting either in-person or virtually. [ [link removed] ]
Initial season proposals were presented during public meetings around the state in March. After considering the ongoing impacts of winter and the overwhelming public concern, wildlife managers modified their recommendations in areas with extreme winter mortality.

Be mindful of wildlife in town this season as snow cover persists
The state of Wyoming has been taking some punches from Mother Nature this winter and spring, and along with it, some residents are getting a closer-than-usual view of Wyoming?s wildlife. In some cases, this happens right in their front yard. This is not uncommon, but often times the public isn?t prepared for it, so there?s a few things to remember.
