Texas judge just restricted abortion access EVERYWHERE
On Friday, Trump-appointed Federal Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk ruled to force manufacturers to pull mifepristone – the first of a two pill regimen for medicated abortions – nationwide. Over half of all abortions in the U.S. rely on mifepristone, and a judge of the Northern District of Texas just ruled to take away that right from women across the country.
In a dueling opinion, Federal Judge from Washington state, Thomas O. Rice, ordered the FDA to preserve the "status quo" – and retain mifepristone access in 17 states, including Washington DC.
While this brings hope for the immediate future, this case is now almost certainly headed to the Supreme Court; the same Court that overturned Roe last year. Pitch in now to help us fight back! >>>

Mifepristone has been approved by the FDA for two decades. It is safe, it is effective, and there is no basis in science for barring its access. This is another step that puts the health care of millions of women across the country at risk – even those in states where abortion care is still legal.
The way forward is to codify abortion access in Congress and we cannot afford to wait. This is an important reason why I am working so hard to take back the majority in the House.
