This is urgent, folks.

On Friday, a single far-right judge in Texas ruled to halt the FDA's approval of mifepristone, one of two medications most commonly used in medication abortion in the United States. This ruling is based not in science but in dark ideological motivations to roll back women’s rights.

I’ll explain more in a moment, but first, I’m asking you to rush a split contribution to my re-election campaign and Planned Parenthood to protect abortion access nationwide. ([link removed])

CONTRIBUTE ([link removed])

Here are the facts:

* Since being approved by the FDA over 20 years ago, mifepristone has been used by more than 5 million people in the United States to safely end their pregnancies.

* Mifepristone is used in more than half of all abortions nationwide.

* This court case is part of ongoing efforts by anti-abortion activists to dismantle reproductive health care nationwide.

When the conservative-majority Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade last year, we knew there were more attacks on abortion access coming soon. We need to take back the House majority for Democrats so that we can make reproductive health care access the law of the land.

My promise to you is that I will always advocate for all Americans to make their own health care decisions, without politicians having a say. That’s why I’m asking you to split a contribution between my campaign and Planned Parenthood today. ([link removed])

Susan
