Recently, a Trump appointed Federal Judge in Texas issued a ruling potentially ending the prescription of the abortion pill, mifepristone. More than HALF of the abortions in Virginia use this safe, effective medication. This is just another example of how we can’t rely on the courts to protect abortion rights and access across the country.
The 2023 General Assembly elections will determine the future of abortion rights in Virginia — whether Glenn Youngkin will have a rubber stamp for his radical anti-abortion agenda or if Democrats can continue to hold the line and keep abortion safe and legal in the Commonwealth.
