Team —
When our freedoms are under attack, Pat is going to take action.
Last year, after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Pat made protecting reproductive freedom a center point of his campaign. When he won the special election, he got right to work to introduce legislation to protect choice.
After a federal judge in Texas revoked the FDA’s approval of a commonly used abortion pill, Pat acted quickly and re-introduced the Protecting Reproductive Freedom Act today.
His legislation would clarify that the FDA has authority over the regulation of abortion medications, not far-right judges or conservative politicians. It also protects the right for doctors to prescribe abortion medication via telehealth appointments.
The judge’s ruling in Texas is an attack on women’s freedoms, and this legislation is a step toward protecting reproductive rights. Pat fought overseas to protect our freedoms from foreign threats, and now he is using his voice in Congress to protect them from domestic threats.
We want to show a groundswell of support for Pat’s legislation today — will you add your name in support of the Protecting Reproductive Freedom Act?
Thank you for voicing your support for this legislation,
— Pat Ryan HQ
