We loved having you!

Dear John,
Thank you! Because of you and our more than 850 partners, National Public Health Week 2023 was an absolute success! More than 150 communities across the country hosted their own events, from health fairs to webinars and mural-making to egg hunts, all to center and celebrate cultures in health. At APHA, over 1,500 people joined us for live webinars, workshops and a public health trivia event in Washington, D.C. It really was a week of celebration!
Some quick housekeeping:
• If you attended any of our events live, please go back to the wrap-up emails you received to take our quick, two-minute feedback surveys. This helps us plan next year’s activities.
• If you missed any of our webinars, you can watch the free recordings [ [link removed] ] .
• Final results of the Keep It Moving Challenge are still being tabulated, but congratulations are in order for Team COPE KANSAS and participant David V. Together, we logged more than 902 MILLION steps and activities. Congrats to all for being active through those chilly months of winter and early spring!
NPHW is successful each year not only because of the strong programming offered, but because of the way the public health community unites to celebrate. If you’d like to help us strengthen next year’s events, consider making a donation to NPHW [ [link removed] ] .
Craving more public health talk? Don’t miss these opportunities:
• Join us at Policy Action Institute [ [link removed] ] in Washington, D.C. or online June 15-16 to discuss proven and proposed policy solutions to tackle today’s most pressing health threats at the local, state and federal levels.
• Mark your calendar for APHA’s 2023 Annual Meeting & Expo [ [link removed] ] in Atlanta, Nov. 12-15.
• Follow our events calendar [ [link removed] ] for a multitude of webinars on public health topics.
Thank you again for making this NPHW a smashing success. We’ll see you April 1-7 for NPHW 2024!
In solidarity,
The NPHW Team
