In early March, we launched the Rally for Our Rights tour. We knew if we were talking about abortion and activating pro-choice voters, we could help Democrats win big on April 4.
As we had hoped voters rallied behind reproductive freedom and against the years of GOP attacks on our rights. This election unfolded just how elections should, with high turnout across the state and among all backgrounds and ages. The motivation to fight for what's right will only continue as we head towards 2024.
And together, Wisconsin, we did it! Congratulations to (Justice!) Janet Protasiewicz! What an amazing campaign from Janet, her team, the Wisconsin Democratic Party, and advocacy groups across the state that turned out record voters in a spring election.
With your help, Women Win Wisconsin was able to accomplish so much in just five weeks:
✅ Held six rallies in Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay, Appleton, Eau Claire, and La Crosse.
✅ Brought together 113 speakers and volunteers to put these rallies on.
✅ Traveled 1,454 miles!
✅ Mobilized hundreds of voters of all ages to hear stories about how the 1849 abortion ban has changed their lives.
