We're excited to welcome back a friend of Houston YR, Dr. Richard Johnson of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Dr. Johnson has been one of our most popular speakers in recent years, speaking about promoting career & technical education (CTE) over critical race theory (CRT).

May Meeting: Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar

We're thrilled to announce our May speaker will be Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar. He is essentially the chief financial officer of Texas. Before his election to Comptroller, he served terms in both the Texas House of Representatives and the Texas Senate.
