I’m so excited to announce that the application for AU’s 2023-2024 Youth Organizing Fellowship is now open! 

The Fellowship is an exciting – and paid – opportunity for emerging activists to grow as leaders, build power with a national cohort of youth organizers, and advocate for religious freedom and the separation of church and state. 

Anyone living in the U.S., including its territories, ages 18-25 is invited to apply, so please share this opportunity with young people in your life who are interested in activism and religious freedom. AU will select ten Fellows who come from diverse backgrounds, share our values of freedom without favor and equality without exception, and have a wide range of experience with advocacy and organizing.

With AU’s support, the Fellows will: 

• Serve as ambassadors for AU and our mission. 
• Educate their communities about the importance of church-state separation.
• Plan events and activities to mobilize members of their communities to take action. 

The Fellowship kicks off virtually in September, followed by an in-person convening in Washington, D.C., in October, and continuing virtually over the course of a year. The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM PT on Monday, June 12.
