On Friday a Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas ordered the Food and Drug Administration to pull pills used in medication abortions off the market, which would effectively strip millions of women in all 50 states of their right to safe, non-surgical abortions.

But a federal judge in Washington issued a conflicting ruling, and the Biden Administration has appealed the Texas ruling.

Mifepristone is still legal now, but conservative lawmakers and judges have shown they're not slowing down their attacks on reproductive rights.
