Governor DeSantis awarded $4 million through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund to add a new interchange at I-75 and Northwest 49th Street in Ocala allowing for the development of Florida’s third Buc-ee's location. This award creates new opportunities for the Ocala area – bringing nearly 1,500 jobs, reducing traffic congestion, and offering support to I-75 for two industrial and commercial development complexes and the nearby World Equestrian Center.

Governor DeSantis traveled to Michigan to share the success of Florida’s Blueprint.
At Hillsdale College, Governor DeSantis detailed the Freedom Blueprint:

Florida is extremely successful when it comes to gaining GOP voters — check it out below! This is another win for Florida, and it’s all thanks to Governor DeSantis’ historic leadership in the Sunshine State.
Governor DeSantis awarded $11.9 million to the town of Fort Myers Beach through the Local Government Emergency Bridge Loan, which was created in a Special Legislative Session earlier this year. These funds are the first award through the program and will help support government operations so that Fort Myers Beach may continue to operate as they rebuild their city.
“By presenting Fort Myers Beach with this $11.9 million award just weeks after I signed this new program into law is a testament to our commitment to helping communities impacted by Hurricanes Ian and Nicole recover as quickly as possible. Through this program, we look forward to connecting more communities with the resources they need to continue operations as they rebuild.” -Governor Ron DeSantis
