Dear John,
Last week, a new voter ID law went into effect in Ohio that threatens the ability of hundreds of thousands of eligible Ohio voters to cast their ballot in the next election.
VoteRiders doesn’t take this lightly. That’s why we formally launched our Ohio program last week at the Ohio Statehouse.
As a nonprofit organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of individual donors to power our work. Will you step up now and make your first contribution to VoteRiders, so we can get our Ohio programming off to a strong start while still supporting our other programs in key states?

The new law in Ohio is one of the strictest in the country. Because of the limited forms of photo ID now accepted to vote in person, hundreds of thousands of eligible voters — many of whom have been voting for years — will need to get a new form of ID or will be turned away at the polls.
Our outreach and help needs to be BIG to reach everyone affected. We’re working in coalition with partner groups, reaching out to the communities least likely to have the necessary type of ID, and scaling up our volunteer efforts to meet this challenge.
You can help. Make a donation to power our work in Ohio and across the country today. >> [link removed]
Sincerely,
Lauren Kunis
