Save the Dates & Register Today! Upcoming Events & Trainings! April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month! We warmly welcome our Members and Advocates to a Survivors Luncheon hosted by CSVANW on Wear Denim Day! Share a meal with us in honor of our real lived experiences and healing each other through community support. Every Survivor deserves to live happy & healthy! RSVP Denim Day is a campaign on a Wednesday in April in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Wear jeans to take a stand against victim-blaming in honor of Denim Day. Join the movement and be in solidarity by wearing denim and post a photo on social media sharing why you support survivors.  Head over to denimdayinfo.org to learn more about the campaign. This training will focus on the dynamics of sex trafficking and Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives in tribal communities, land and body violence, discussion around how to support survivors of trafficking and families experiencing a missing and murdered crisis. Objectives: Providers will learn about how sex trafficking intersects with the MMIWR crisis Develop an understanding of land and body violence as it relates sex trafficking/MMIWR Engage in meaningful discussion ??? Intended Audience: Direct service providers and advocates on New Mexico tribal lands and those working with victims and survivors of sex trafficking, and their dependent children. This is a two-day education on the dynamics of genderqueer Indigenous Youth and gender/land violence for Native LGBTQ2S+ Youths who are ages 16-24 years old. It is our goal that the retreat participants will be supported, encouraged, and reenergized. Our hope is to create a friendly and safe space to be yourself and to have fun.
