[BREAKING] Rockets fired on Israel

The sanctity of the first day of Passover was violated for all of Israel on Thursday when a coordinated effort between the Hezbollah and Hamas lead to dozens of rockets being fired at Israeli communities from Lebanon and Gaza.

Passover is the festival in which we celebrate our liberation from Egypt and redemption to the Land of Israel.

Unfortunately, this attack reminds us that even on our most joyous days, freedom is not free. There are now many Israelis who will need assistance and as we’ve done in the past we will:

Provide emergency medical care for Israelis of all backgrounds
Comfort terror victims especially children who will have PTSD
Enhance security for Israeli communities being threatened, and
Care for soldiers who put their lives on the line to protect their people and the Land.

I live in Israel, but more importantly, I need prayers for my son and son-in-law, who were just deployed by the Israeli Army to protect our small but vigilant nation as well as my daughter-in-law who has already on duty.

This is not an exercise.

For millions of Israelis in the range of the terrorists’ rockets, there’s serious risk. There are reports that public bomb shelters have been opened.
