John,
This week, we had another special guest visit NM-02: U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
As part of the Biden Administration’s ‘Invest in America’ tour, Secretary Vilsack announced that New Mexico will receive $40 million in federal funding for broadband internet expansion.
Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed last year, these projects will help rural communities across our state receive reliable internet connection. It’s about time!
Reliable broadband internet grants New Mexicans greater access to education and healthcare, plus it creates jobs.
We still have a lot of work to do, but this is yet another way that Democrats are delivering and paying attention to the people here in NM-02.
If you want to see more progress made on issues like reproductive choice, affordable healthcare, lower costs of living, and more, then please consider pitching in $10 or more to my re-election campaign so I can continue to fight for our district in Washington.
