HAPPY EASTER AND GOD BLESS THE USA

This picture of me was taken in May of 1988 soon after I landed in Austin, TX.  Here I was fully enjoying my first spring as a free person.

To leave China, I planned carefully for two years while working as an assistant professor at a law school in Shanghai. In order to leave my job, I needed permission from the party department leader (there was an academic Dean, but the party head is the more powerful.) I had to sign an agreement with him to promise to return to my job after I obtained my degree in the US.

I was worried sick about getting stuck in China, never able to leave legally. I even dreamed of digging a hole through the Earth, then swimming across the Pacific Ocean to America. I have an occasional nightmare once in a while that I am still trapped there.

I know what freedom means, how fragile it is, and I can never take my freedom here for granted.  Think about it.  In many churches in China today, Xi's picture is displayed more prominently than Jesus.

IS HISTORY REPEATING?

My appearance on NTD News on weaponizing youth like Red Guards in the US, the violence against Riley Gaines, a women’s sports advocate. I also commented on gun control activists.

“Former New Hampshire congressional candidate and a survivor of Mao’s Cultural Revolution, Lily Tang Williams peers through the lens of history with NTD, in her assessment of recent developments in the transgender and gun-control movements.”

TWITTER SPACE TALK WITH DR. JAMES LINDSEY AND XI VAN FLEET

On April 5th, I co-hosted my first Twitter Space presentation with James Lindsey, a leader in fighting against Cultural Marxism and my friend Xi Van Fleet who also survived Mao’s Cultural Revolution. Moms For Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice also joined us near the end to talk the evidence of building the Red Guards in our schools. We had 3400 listeners tuned in and will plan to do that again in the near future. You can listen to this recorded talk by going to my Twitter and search for April 5th on Lily Tang Williams (@Lily4Liberty) / Twitter --- It looks like this....

Have a happy and Blessed Easter.
