Folks,
Late Friday night, a federal judge in Texas ruled that mifepristone — a medication approved by the FDA and used by millions of women in need of abortion care for over 20 years — should be banned.
This is a decision with no basis in scientific or medical evidence and is yet another blow to women’s reproductive rights following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade last June.
With states across the country passing draconian measures to criminalize abortions and punish women, medications like these have become essential for women in need of safe access to reproductive health care. In many cases, these pills are saving lives.
While Coloradans have safe access to reproductive care, rulings like this affect women nationwide.
Many of my Republican colleagues in the Senate want to go even further. They have made it clear that they want a federal law to ban abortion nationwide — including right here in Colorado.
Folks, we can’t let that happen.
Will you please split a donation between Planned Parenthood Action Fund and my campaign so we can continue our work to protect women’s access to healthcare across the country? No one should be denied care because of their zip code.
A woman's health care decisions should be between herself and her doctor, not the government. Colorado is a safe haven for women seeking reproductive care, but women across the country are already facing the consequences of a post-Roe landscape.
We’re waging this fight from every direction and your contribution today will help us elect pro-choice Democrats so we can codify Roe, pass the EACH Act, and fight back against my Republican colleagues and their nationwide abortion ban, while supporting the work that Planned Parenthood Action Fund does across the country every day.

As always, thank you for your support, team,
