Democrats have a distinct advantage that we have failed to effectively mobilize: the power of activists .
Our party is made up of people that are passionate about achieving a better society for all. Folks who are willing to give something of themselves with no promise of reward, simply because it is the right thing to do.
The reality is that these people win elections. Activists, organizers, and volunteers are the driving force behind successful campaigns. Excitement exists for the candidate, but we know that the team makes the win possible.
As a party, it's our great responsibility to put these people in a position to succeed while acting as good stewards of their time and energy. At the heart of ROCC is a vision of empowering each activist in their skills, interests, and desires to affect the positive change they seek.
We hope to put the people doing the best work on the ground in a position where they can succeed and are celebrated for their efforts and time. They make change happen, and we have them to thank.
