Dear John,

Today is a very special day for so many of our faithful supporters.

So, I wanted to make sure to wish a Happy Easter to all who celebrate.

This is one of the most sacred times of the year for Christians across the country, and around this time I can’t help but remember how different Easter looks today compared to three short years ago.

In 2020 radical Leftists launched an unprecedented attack on religion.

They leveraged fear of COVID-19 to forcefully shut down houses of worship for while leaving liquor stores, marijuana dispensaries, and big box stores open.

In California, Governor Newsom even prohibited religious gatherings of three or more families in their own private homes.

But with your support, our team of litigators stepped in and filed lawsuits from New Jersey to Hawaii challenging unconstitutional stay-at-home orders…and we won!

In fact, three of our cases—Gish v. Newsom, Tandon v. Newsom, and South Bay United Pentecostal Church v. Newsom where we served as co-counsel—we successful at the United States Supreme Court.

The ripple effect of these monumental wins stretched across the country reopening houses of worship of all faiths.

Today, I am especially thankful for our religious freedom—in a way I couldn’t have imagined pre-COVID.

That’s why no matter what you believe, no matter your faith tradition, the Center for American Liberty is grateful for your continued support, and why we will continue to fight for your First Amendment Rights with everything we have.

So, if you are one of the millions of Americans celebrating Easter today, I want to wish you a very Happy Easter holiday as you gather with your faith community and family.

God Bless,

Mark Trammell
