Happy Resurrection Sunday! Today is the day we remember Jesus’ sacrifice and celebrate His resurrection and victory over sin and death.
Every year, we celebrate Easter behind prison bars—a tradition that started with our founder, Chuck Colson—through Hope Events. Even when prison doors were closed, we stayed true to this tradition by providing our first-ever virtual Hope Events.
Over the past couple weeks, teams of volunteers and Prison Fellowship staff led 69 Hope Events in 55 correctional facilities across the country with an emphasis on the hope, forgiveness, and unconditional love found in Christ. We also had a free DVD version of past Easter Hope Events on The Storehouse, Prison Fellowship’s store exclusively for prison chaplains.
Easter Sunday is the day we all come together to celebrate the glorious Good News of our Savior. Thanks to your support, lives have been transformed in prisons across the country this Easter season!
