Dear John,
I am so proud to be running a grassroots campaign that is fueled by people like you! Over a quarter of our donations come from first-time donors and we have people carrying petitions who have never volunteered for a political candidate until now. This is people-power.
January has been a momentous month for our campaign: we hired a new field organizer to cover the southern portion of the state, we have been rallying, marching and taking to the streets to stand up for people who have been pushed to the margins, and we started collecting petition signatures to get on the ballot.
Whether you’re a monthly donor, a super volunteer, hitting the pavement to collect signatures, or working behind the scenes to build our name recognition, this campaign would not be possible without people like you. You host the meet and greets. You donate your money and time. You show up and show out. Thank you! |

I knew when I joined this race that I was the underdog, despite the fact that I was the first person to enter. But I also knew that we were ready for a change. Change requires hard work, determination, and the will to fight to the end. I'm in this to the end.
I have been putting in the work to elevate people’s voices and we’re seeing the results. We have nearly 100 trained volunteers collecting signatures all across the state, while some of our opponents are hiring paid circulators to buy their way onto the ballot. We don’t need any more bought and paid for politicians.
I’m not for sale. I’m not taking any corporate PAC money. I’m not taking dirty oil and gas money. I’m relying 100% on people like you to fund our campaign. Will you dig deep to keep me in this race by contributing $22 by the end of the night? |
