Hi John,
Welcome to your fourth of five emails for The Big One. Today we’re talking about logistics.
Read on to discover the key info you need to make your plan for the day - or take our quiz to see if you’re prepared!
Attendance, not arrest
XR has a reputation, we get that. But this time, we’re here to get the attention of the Government, not disrupt the public. There will be no actions that would jeopardise the safety, inclusivity and the impact of mass protest.
We are working closely with the authorities to make this event as inclusive as possible. The police have emphasised our right to peacefully assemble and assured us there will be no surprises for attendees at The Big One.
There are four simple steps you can take to get ready for a big protest.

Transport and accommodation
Transport
Travelling together with others can be a great start. Many local XR groups are organising coaches. See a list of current coach bookings to discover where you could hop on board. If there’s nothing in your area, why not reach out to your local group and ask them to plan a coach?
If you need support getting to The Big One, you can apply for a transport subsidy (for those with access needs).
Accommodation
If you’re thinking of coming for multiple days, that’s great! The Accommodation Team is working hard to help everyone find a place to stay in London. Request indoor accommodation, a camping spot or find out more.
All welcome!
The Big One aims to be as inclusive and accessible as possible. Read more in the
Rebel Toolkit.
This is truly a group effort. So far,
more than 100 organisations are supporting The Big One including Greenpeace, Patagonia, Tearfund, Friends of the Earth, and PCS Union.
Questions?
Join the final '
Open Call' on Sunday 16th at 7pm to hear the latest news from the people making this all happen, and ask your questions.
By registering for the open call you will get a link to the live zoom event and also a link to watch on YouTube.
Love and rage,

PS If you’re planning on attending,
let us know! This helps us plan and means you are counted in the number who’ve signed up, which will give other people confidence to attend too.
