Bob introduced this legislation seven years ago after a young man used an AR-15 to kill three teenagers at a Mukilteo house party. Many said advocates would never overcome the gun lobby’s strong opposition — but Bob never gave up. He promised to introduce the bill every year until it passed.

That year is now.
