I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. Last month, I issued a bold call to action: I told you what was at stake right now – and then I asked you to join me in the fight for progress. So many of you stepped and joined this fight. And because of you, we’re one step closer to taking back the House and defending our progress.
We are at an unprecedented moment in our nation’s history. A former President is facing criminal charges. Members of the Tennessee state legislature were expelled for peaceful protest against gun violence killing our school children. Governors are making it illegal to cross state lines for safe and legal abortion. And extreme MAGA Republicans are gearing up to hold our economy hostage and threaten our Social Security and Medicare.
Meeting this moment takes strong leadership and meaningful solutions. In my new leadership roles in the Democratic Caucus, I am working every day to uphold the rule of law, strengthen our democracy, and protect our freedoms. And I am ready to defend our Democratic progress – no matter what the extremists throw our way.
It’s clear that we have a lot of work ahead of us. Your grassroots support powers this fight and allows me to use my voice for positive change. None of this is possible without you.
