The Quincy Institute is proud to partner with Foreign Policy to host a dynamic and thought provoking dialogue about the changing global order and America’s role in it.
The forum, “A New Vision for America In the World”, will bring together the foremost leaders and thinkers from across the American foreign policy, defense, and security communities to debate the growing calls for an end to endless war and an American foreign policy centered on diplomacy and military restraint.
U.S. foreign policy is at an inflection point: Volatility in the Middle East and tensions between the U.S. and Iran have reached a new high, while public frustration with U.S. military involvements and transpartisan calls for restraint suggest a historic opening for a new mode of American foreign policy. At the same time, the rise of China and a shifting power balance toward an increasingly multipolar world suggest the need to recalibrate U.S. foreign policy and global leadership for the 21st century.
