Learn about the MAGA Default Crisis

Hey Indivisibles,

Since January, we’ve been talking about an impending disaster in Washington -- MAGA extremists in the House are using their majority to push our country towards a default. They want huge cuts to essential programs like Medicare & Social Security, and our health and financial stability are at risk.

Republicans are not doing this for the good of the American people, they want to use our budget to enrich their donors, their wealthy friends, and themselves on the backs of hardworking families.

We are ready to fight back against Republicans holding our economy hostage, but we can’t do it without your help. Learn how you can take action by joining our National Activist Call: The MAGA Default Crisis on Wednesday, April 12 at 8pm ET/5pm PT.

We will be joined by Rep. Greg Casar (TX-35) -- a champion for the people and a proven leader with deep local support. Rep. Casar is one of the signatories of a congressional letter written by Reps. Boyle, Jayapal, and Kuster calling on Democrats to commit to defending the well-being of the American people by refusing to bow to MAGA hostage taking (Click here to learn more about the letter and the MAGA Default Crisis).

At the call, you’ll hear from Rep. Casar and learn more about our strategy to fight back against these extremist Republicans before they destroy Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and other vital programs we hold dear.

We can’t let the MAGA majority use American’s lives and livelihoods as bargaining chips. RSVP to the National Activist Call: The MAGA Default Crisis on April 12 at 8pm ET/5pm PT today to join the resistance.

In solidarity,

Indivisible Project is a locally-led, people-powered movement of thousands of local groups in red, blue, and purple states, and in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Our mission is to power and lift up a grassroots movement of local groups to defeat the Trump agenda, elect progressive leaders, and realize bold progressive policies.

Grassroots donations, not foundations or large gifts, are our single largest source of funding. That means we’re accountable to, and fueled by, Indivisibles on the ground. Chip in $7 to keep fueling our movement.
