John – We knew the day was coming.

Yesterday afternoon, an anti-choice judge in Texas outlawed mifepristone, the most commonly-used abortion drug in the United States, stripping rights away from every woman in America and putting countless lives at risk.

It's a callous ruling engineered by a tiny group of misogynistic radicals who can't stand the idea that women can think for themselves.

Pregnant women deserve medical advice from doctors – not judges, not anti-choice activists or Kevin McCarthy or Ted Cruz or any other extremist bully.

Last November, I defeated my anti-choice opponent and the voters of the 4th district sent me to pass reproductive freedom in the United States Congress. I won't stop until we block any and all national abortion bans and finally codify abortion rights into law.

I will never waver.
