We know it's the weekend, but there are two quick things we want to share with you this morning:
✅ GOOD NEWS: Thanks to the incredible grassroots support of people like you, we were able to hit our goals for both contributions and dollars raised last quarter. We're still finalizing the numbers, but we do know that once we file our FEC report, our right-wing opponents aren't going to like what they see.
❌ BAD NEWS: The clock doesn't stop ticking, and April is already well-underway. Right now we're pacing behind on fundraising, and our average donation has plummeted to about $11/each this week. That's almost $6 a contribution lower than what we normally plan for.
We know it doesn't seem like a huge difference, but over the course of a month, a quarter, or an entire campaign… it adds up to a lot. Especially when you run a campaign like we do, relying almost entirely on small-dollar, grassroots donations to keep us going.
Long story short — it's not great. But it's not the end of the world. Especially when we have a movement like ours behind us that knows how to step up when it matters most.
We still have time to get back on track for April, so we're asking:
