Organizations like ours live and die by their supporters. We're so glad so many of you are supporting our efforts as the time consuming work of party building gets done. In May, we'll be holding a summit in Gettysburg to ratify the by-laws that have been coming together over the past several months and we will finally become a legal Political Body in Pennsylvania. 

Also at this summit, we'll be installing our newly elected leadership team. We'll be rolling out the procedures for that election on our next statewide call on April 17th and in an email immediately following. Please be sure to join us to meet the candidates. 

And who are these Candidates?

Our interim leadership team has come together over the past year made from people that were passionate enough to volunteer their time to an idea and make it into an organization. None of us are political professionals and none of us are under the impression that these positions are ours forever. It's important that leadership is chosen by our supporters and that the best candidates for those positions are represented, and we are actively seeking dedicated nominees for all positions.

There are 9 electable positions within our leadership team.

State Chair- Overseeing the work of the state teams and interfacing with Forward National

Fundraising Chair- Managing relationships while setting and reaching targets for incoming donations.

Secretary- Keeping minutes and helping us follow the requirements set out in the bylaws.

6 Regional Co-Chairs- We currently have 3 interim Regional Co-Chairs but the decision has been made to divide the state into 6 Regions. Therefor, we need nominees to fill these new roles, particularly if you live in the Northern Half of the State. These positions involve holding events and getting to know supporters in their region as they recruit and train county level leadership.

We can help explain the roles in much more detail and explain what would go into being a member of the leadership team in general.  Time is of the essence and we need to get the best team we can together to accomplish all the goals we have in the coming year.
