Today, in a bogus lawsuit, a Texas judge blocked the FDA's approval of mifepristone -- a medicine commonly used in a medication abortion. This decision will take effect in seven days, pending the government's appeal.

Mifepristone is one of two medications used in the most common medication abortion regimen in the United States. It's safe and has been FDA-approved for more than 20 years. But now, one judge is blocking its approval, which could go into effect as soon as next week.

This is an unprecedented decision that could severely limit access to mifepristone for medication abortion. Please, make an emergency donation to Planned Parenthood now. Your gift will support abortion access across the country and help connect patients with care.
