It's Imperative We Hold Republican Senators Accountable in 2020

It's clear that Senate Republicans have no intention of holding Trump accountable for his wrongdoing - in fact, many are eager to participate in an egregious cover-up, despite a national outcry for more witnesses and documents to be included in the impeachment trial.

Under McConnell's leadership they have steamrolled a record number of unfit judicial nominees, blocked hundreds of bills passed by the House, and enabled Trump -- and Trumpism -- at every turn. It's outrageous.

But make no mistake, PFAW is already deploying our proven electoral programs in key states across the country, putting boots on the ground, and building our organizing toolbox to ensure we are prepared to mobilize progressives across the country.

None of this would be possible without the support of PFAW members like you, Friend, and we're hoping you can infuse our operations with a much-needed donation today, before our critical end of month deadline.

All donations by midnight 1/31 will be 3X-MATCHED!

Can you help us raise the $41,364 needed to hit our January goal with a donation right now?>>

A new report from PFAW takes a look at the harm the decision has had for our democracy, impact on progressive issues, and what strategies advocates are using to fight back.

And just next week, the House will hold a hearing for the first time ever on the Democracy For All constitutional amendment that would overturn cases like Citizens United and allow Congress and the states to put an end to the unchecked spending in our elections.

In a southern state once the home of the confederacy, Democrats now control the state legislature for the first time in decades. The victories enjoyed by progressives here have already resulted in the state's ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment and action on gun violence prevention, and have pending measures to address issues such as raising the minimum wage, strengthening voting rights, decriminalizing marijuana, and more.

In a new op-ed in the Florida Sun Sentinel, former Tallahassee mayor and PFAW Senior Fellow Andrew Gillum outlines various ways that voter ID laws, voter purges and other voter suppression practices have been employed in key battleground states and urges progressives to take action to ensure that all voters have access to the ballot box.
