OLYMPIA, Wash. ? Insurance Commissioner Mike Kreidler issued fines in March totaling $578,363 against insurance companies who violated state insurance laws and regulations.
That included a $500,000 fine for The Standard Insurance Company (Portland, Ore.) for issuing disability insurance for Washington state employees using forms that hadn't been filed with the OIC.?
