Hi friend,

EnviroVoters is launching a regular town hall series with members of California’s Congressional delegation. It’s a chance to educate environmental voters like you and give you a chance to engage with our leaders.

Our first Virtual Town Hall is next Wednesday, April 12 with Congressman Mike Levin. He’ll be discussing H.R. 1 (AKA the “Polluters Over People Act”), green energy, and public land. Can you make it?

What: Virtual Town Hall with Rep. Mike Levin
When: Wednesday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m.
Where: Zoom

Friend, this is a great opportunity to hear directly from one of California’s climate champions in Washington, D.C. and even ask him questions.

Congressman Levin, who represents part of southern Orange County and northern coastal San Diego County, will share an update on H.R. 1. That’s the energy package the Republican-controlled House passed that would undo the bulk of President Biden’s efforts to combat the climate crisis.

He will also dig into the high cost of energy, corporate price gouging, and the urgent need to transition to clean energy, and talk about the importance of federal public land and how the community can get involved in protecting our special places in California.
