Hi John,

Alexandra’s birthday is this Sunday and we know what will make her happy: a good fundraising weekend. That’s the best present a candidate can ask for. And Alexandra means a lot to us, so we want to make her happy!

Alexandra's the only progressive in the race for Philadelphia City Controller, and she has the energy and vision to make sure City Government budgets start actually working for us. That's a pretty big deal at any age, but for someone just turning 30 — we think that's pretty darn remarkable.

We know Alexandra is the leader we need as Philadelphia's next City Controller. But to make sure Alexandra gets elected, she’ll need to go into this election stronger than ever.

And we need your support to make that happen. In honor of Alexandra's 30th birthday, will you donate now to get us to $30,000 before Alexandra's 30th birthday?

Send Alexandra a gift 🎁 !

We're an entirely people powered campaign— our budget comes from the generosity of supporters just like you, giving in emails just like this one. Your support is what makes Team Hunt possible

Please, if you are in a position to give, make a contribution today to help us reach our goals now - before Alexandra's birthday on April 9th.

Alexandra Hunt is a public health researcher, a girls’ soccer coach, an advocate for social, racial, economic, and environmental justice, and a community organizer.

She's the daughter of two teachers and a sister to a twin brother with a learning disability. Seeing the systemic obstacles her brother faced inspired Alexandra to become an advocate and challenge barriers on the basis of race, gender, class, and ability.

Now, Alexandra's running to be the Philly's next City Controller because the people in Philly work too hard for too little. And right now, line items in budgets create lines for food and health care. It's time to elect a City Controller who is going to prioritize the needs of the communities Philly's money comes from.
