My week on the campaign trail:

Another week visiting Vermont is in the books — and this was a big one! Here are a few highlights:

Vermont had the honor of receiving a visit from First Lady Jill Biden! I was honored to join her in South Burlington this past Wednesday at Beta Technologies, an electric aerospace company based at the Burlington International Airport. Our visit focused on celebrating Vermont’s commitment to being a national leader on clean energy and innovation, and the need to invest in training programs and technical education that represent the future of work across America.

I also attended the Gender Equity Summit at UVM to share my story of being a woman in politics, and to celebrate the contributions of those on campus working towards equity and the journeys we all take to become women in leadership positions.

Finally, I popped over to Winooski to celebrate the unveiling of a new school building with students, educators, and Vermont’s entire federal delegation! Investments in schools like those in the Winooski School District are critical to the growth of our communities and the success of our students.

Kicking off April by seeing so many of your smiling faces on the campaign trail has been the BEST! As always, I’m carrying your stories, ideas, and challenges with me back to DC as I prepare to continue fighting for Vermont values in Washington.
